The TMP800 is a high performance Media and VoIP gateway. A new generation extensible multi-service development platform that meets the needs of service providers and solution developers looking to cost-effectively deploy new value-added services. The TMP6400 includes advanced features including "Any to Any Switching", SS7/C7 direct termination and a green footprint with less than 50 watts fully loaded. Supports up to eight T1, D1 or J1 primary rate ISDN interfaces. Supports universal and wireless CODECs with T.38 FAX support. The TMP6400 builds on these capabilities with an advanced application platform for delivering enhanced network-wide services such as unified communications, ring-back tones, and prepaid/postpaid services

The TelcoBridges™ Tdev TMP800 is an extensible multi-service development platform that meets the needs of service providers, system integrators and solution developers looking to cost-effectively expand the edge of their network footprint or quickly deploy value-added services. The TMP800 provides capacity of up to (8) T1/E1/J1 interfaces (up to 256 universal VoIP channels). As service uptake increases, the capabilities of the 1U form factor TMP800 can be extended with expansion cards for VoIP and software license upgrades for TDM.

Whether sitting at the network edge or positioned to trial new service deployments, the TMP800 provides core media gateway functionality, including SS7 signaling, allowing it to bridge TDM and IP networks, intermediate between various wireless, TDM and IP voice protocols, and deliver hosted IPPBX, Fax over IP, SIP trunking and other advanced services.

Leveraging the TelcoBridges Toolpack™, the TMP800 media gateway offers a nimble approach to developing and provisioning unique subscriber-specific services and value-added applications. The media gateway’s on-board Freescale® microprocessor and 4GB flash storage provide local application hosting capability.  In addition, the TMP800 allows applications to be hosted on an external application server.
